NAWBO's Appointments Committee
Getting On "Boards" with NAWBO's Appointments Committee
"What does it take to get elected to corporate boards?" will be the call of the NAWBO Appointments Committee and one of the top priorities of NAWBO board members. The committee's goal is to get 100% of the NAWBO members who would like to be on corporate boards on that path.
To increase our chances of success, it is important that all members:
- Complete the Appointments Committee Member Survey and return it to the
Chapter office.
- Click
here fill out an application online. Simply let the page load, and
select "print" on your browser.
- Communicate requirements needed for not-for-profit, government organizations,
industry or trade associations, and most importantly corporate boards.
- Inform the committee of your existing and past board positions to benchmark
progress over the year.
- Help generate leads for board positions.
NAWBO stands for the success of all women owned businesses. Corporate board appointments help solidify women's success and credentials. Our hope is to get all of our Corporate Partners on "board."
