Affiliates Committee Looks for Connections
Can you help the Affiliates Committee make connections with any of the organizations listed below? Let us know if:
- you are involved personally in the organization
- can tell us if the mission of the organization aligns with the description below, or
- you can provide the name of a person in leadership at the organization.
If so, please call Patti Ernst, Chair, Affiliates Committee, at 630-964-6700 or send an email to her at pernst@omalleyassoc.com. The committee is creating a database which will eventually be available for our members and is seeking organizations to participate in the February Networking Extravaganza. We feel sure many of you are already involved in the organizations we have identified.
If you know other groups not listed and fit the criteria below, please also let Gail know about those as well.
The type of organization with which we look to partner:
- Not-for-profits which work to achieve the empowerment of women in business
- Value-added – provide a service or benefit to NAWBO members, such as Boardroom Bound
- Educational - such as Coleman Entrepreneurship Center of DePaul
- Regional chambers of commerce, such as Chicagoland Chamber
- Professional - serving a particular industry, such as Federation of Women Contractors
