July 9: NAWBO New Year Celebration & Annual Meeting

Celebrate the start of a new NAWBO year as we welcome the incoming board of directors and thank the outgoing board for their year of service. This dinner event features recognition of members celebrating milestone anniversaries and the presentation of the New Venture awards to five ACCESSORIES and Second Act LLC for most promising new businesses.

July 16: Prospective Member Breakfast
Are you or do you know a woman business owner who is a NAWBO member? Then invite her to the Prospective Member Breakfast. NAWBO Chicago President Angelika Coghlan will review the membership benefits and demonstrate how NAWBO can help when it comes to the business of running your business.

July 23: Diversity Equals Dollars

Keynote Speaker: Gloria Castillo, President, Chicago United. Created in 1968, Chicago United was the first group to bring together racially diverse CEOs with a common goal of creating a stronger social and economic climate for everyone in Chicago. One topic she will discuss is CU's action oriented plan called the Five Forward Initiative designed to improve regional competitiveness by building minority-owned firms of scale.
